Hosting our fifth annual season of Crawfish and Gulf Shrimp Boils at Bistro La Roux. - 2 pm - 2:30 pm is the time the food is put on your table "Dump time" -Right in front of you!
Enjoy Live Jazz or Blues music as you feast on delicious New Orleans Style boiled Gulf Shrimp, Crawfish, Sweet Corn, Potatoes and Andouille Sausage. You choose how much you want on your table's boil. Let us know how many we are serving so we can set your table appropriately. Lessons are available for novice eaters. There is a $50 deposit per table, which will be deducted from your total order at day of boil. Changes to your order or number of people attending can be made prior to Monday before the event. After that Monday, no refunds will be issues or orders changed.
Our experience is that there are about 15 crawfish to a pound and 10 shrimp to a pound, experienced eaters will consume about 2 - 3 pounds of crawfish and a pound of shrimp over the couple hours you will be enjoying music and your food. Come early and enjoy beer, wine, something off our modified menu. We will dump your food between 2 and 2:30 pm - don't be late!
