This is a Four Day Camp meeting Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, December 30 & 31 then January 2 & 3 due to the Balloon Museum being closed on January 1.
Students will discover the basics of 3D printing while they build their very own Ender 3 printer to take home. Students will be introduced to CAD software and learn how to find and print models in freeware. 3d printing is the way of the future and students will learn everything it takes to have an idea, design it and print it as well as how to troubleshoot and maintain their very own additive manufacturing machine.
Again, this is a 4 day camp from 1pm-5pm. If camper signs up for both morning and afternoon camp, they can stay from 12:30-1 at no additional charge and should bring their own lunch, refrigerators are not available.
As always, the Be Greater peer mentoring model will be used in this hands-on project-based camp.
