This is a Four Day Camp meeting Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, December 30 & 31 then January 2 & 3 due to the Balloon Museum being closed on Wednesday, January 1 there will be no class that day. Again, this is a 4 day camp from 8:30am-12:30pm.
In this rocket camp, students will learn the basics of model rocketry as well as the history of rocketry (and how it got a start in New Mexico). Students will explore the science and engineering principles used in building these gravity-defying high-fliers. Campers will have the opportunity to build and launch rockets each day of camp and will test and explore the impact of variants on their rockets. This camp is sure to ignite every camper's imagination through the hands-on exploration of air rockets and model rockets as well.
If camper signs up for both morning and afternoon camp, they can stay from 12:30-1 at no additional charge and should bring their own lunch, refrigerators are not available.
