This course is designed to provide skilled tree workers with education and practice in making sound designs on how to plan and set up complex rigging systems. Learn how to assess, set-up, and remove large trees using blocks, pulleys, slings, and multiple ropes, safely and efficiently. Participants will also be trained in the use of specialized equipment and techniques employed in Stationary Rope Systems (SRS) and Moving Rope Systems (MRS), as well as, educated in applicable forces on anchor points, redirects and tie off methods for tree climbing systems.
Eligibility Recommendations: Attendees should have prior training in aerial chainsaw safety & cutting techniques or have taken the Production Tree Removal & Rigging course.
Arborist Demonstrations Will Include:

• Tree climbing techniques and equipment
• Arborist rigging techniques & equipment• Forces associated with rigging
6.5 Certified Arborist CEUs and 6.5 CTSP CEUs will be earned for the seminar.
