Where do Everyday California’s Snorkeling Tours go? You’ll kayak out into the reserve with your guides, who will lead the group to the best snorkeling spot on that day. Your guide will drop anchor, secure your kayaks, and lead you snorkeling in the La Jolla Ecological Reserve, pointing out the marine life as you go.
What is included on a Snorkeling Tour? Tours include a mask, snorkel, and fins. Everyday California snorkeling tours are suitable for almost everyone 5 years and older. Guests must have a basic swimming ability, but no previous snorkeling experience is required.
Who will be taking me on a tour? Experienced and highly trained guides will lead you and your group on the tour. Each guide has extensive knowledge of the La Jolla Ecological Reserve and La Jolla Caves and is trained in water safety, first aid and CPR.
Will I see sea life on the tour? Among the sea life regularly seen on the tours are: Sea Lions, Leopard Sharks (harmless), Seals, Cormorants, Pelicans, Sea Gulls, Garibaldi, Dolphins and many other types of fish.
Do I need to be an experienced kayaker? No experience is required! Everyone from children 5 years and older to 80 years old are welcome as first time kayakers. Come out and have a blast on an amazing kayak and snorkeling adventure tour.
Where do Everyday California’s Kayak Tours go? After meeting up with your guide at their shop, we’ll head down the street to the beach at La Jolla Shores. After some quick safety instructions, you’ll get in your kayak and head out towards La Jolla Cove. All kayak tours take you through the La Jolla Ecological Reserve to explore the seven La Jolla Sea Caves. Kayaking is the best way to see the famous La Jolla Caves!
Disclaimer. If the waves are too high they will cancel the tour and refund our money -- or -- our tour guide will advise us that day whether we can kayak into Clam Cave. We will still explore La Jolla Coves and see the 7 Sea Caves area. Tickets are for your designated time slot, non-refundable but transferable.
**Please allow plenty of time to park and be at Everyday California at least 30 minutes before your group tour. Or, walk from Kellogg Park.**
