10ofthose is delighted to be organising this ladies event on the morning of Saturday 8th June and is extremely grateful to Duke Street Church, Richmond for hosting.
We're hearing a lot in the secular world about 'midlife and the menopause' but rarely do we think about this stage of life from a Christian perspective, so we are particularly excited to be organising this event the week that Sarah Allen's new book launches.
We're also delighted to announce that we will be joined by Dr Rosslyn Perkins, a GP in South London who also teaches undergraduate medical students at Kings. As a family Doctor, Rosslyn sees the impact of menopause on her female patients, and is often asked about HRT.
We'll get to hear from Sarah and Rosslyn, and there will also be time set aside to 'pause' for reflection, as well as an opportunity to ask questions.
In a changing world with changing emotions, bodies and lives, we’ll be reminded of the unchanging God and our certain future.
Women of all ages and stages are warmly welcome to this event - whether the menopause feels a long way off or a distant memory - we hope you will leave feeling equipped to trust God in this season of life, and to encourage and support friends in their midlife.
Come for coffee and to browse the bookstall from 9.15am with the formal part of the morning starting at 10am.
Tickets are £10 (Concessions £5) and nearer the time you'll receive a voucher to purchase Sarah's book at a discounted price on the morning.
Duke Street Church is easily accessible by public transport being just a 4 minute walk from Richmond Station which is served by national rail, overground and underground trains (end of the District Line); and numerous bus routes converge in Richmond too. 10ofthose.com are are a Christian Book Publisher and Distributor.
