We are excited to announce the 3rd Annual Hammer Deaf Expo. Our 2025 Deaf Expo will be held in Loveland, Ohio.
The Hammer Deaf Expo is on Saturday September 13 at Oasis Golf Club in Loveland Ohio from 9am-5pm. There will be a variety of exhibitors as well as a meet and greet, Corn Hole tournament along with food and beverages to purchase. It will be a great opportunity for both the deaf and hearing attendees. My goal for the Expo is to showcase and support deaf culture through the exhibitors and also provide an environment for hearing and deaf to find community to learn and grow from one another.
-Free Admission for expo attendees!!!
-Free Parking for expo attendees!!!
The Lodge is 40 minutes from both the Dayton and Cincinnati Northern Kentucky airports.
It will be a great time of year to visit the downtown Loveland area where there are many places to eat, drink and explore the area along the scenic Little Miami River. You’ll find me at The Works Brick Oven Restaurant (20 Grear Millitzer Pl, Loveland, OH. 45140) having pizza and a beer after the expo. I hope to see you there!

Hello!
My name is Matt “The Hammer” Hamill. I was born deaf and grew up in Loveland Ohio. Growing up I went through the education systems that didn’t best support me academically. I was taught to speak by my family, and did not learn sign language until the 8th grade. I started wrestling at the age of 6, and found success in both the high school and collegiate level. Though I earned a wrestling scholarship to Purdue University, I had difficulty integrating there and transferred to RIT and Graduated from there in 1999 earning an Electro Mechanical Technology degree despite the educational challenges in my early life. I later became a professional MMA fighter.
Living as a deaf person living in a hearing dominated world, I have since shifted my passion to advocacy for the deaf community. I have traveled around the world for speaking engagements to both hearing and deaf communities to try to share and encourage others to continue to pursue their passion despite whatever barriers they might have. I also do wrestling and MMA seminars. My goal is to build a training site on my own property for personal and small group training for wrestling and personal fitness.
Another way I have chosen to advocate is through hosting a Deaf Expo. This September I am planning the 3rd Annual Hammer Deaf Expo in Loveland, Ohio. This event will showcase many deaf and deaf supportive businesses, along with other deaf advocacy groups all showcasing their products or services.
I would like to ask for your support in this endeavor either through sponsorship of the expo or as an exhibitor so that you showcase your business or services that assist or support the deaf community. If you are unable to participate in either way please consider a monetary gift that will help to provide this event in our community . Thanks for your consideration in partnering with me to support the deaf community.
