Our Speakers: Dr. Hans Madueme andScott Barber
Dr. Hans Maduaeme serves as an Associate Professor of Theological Studies at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA. He received his PhD from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. While at TEDS, he was the managing director of the Henry Center for Theological Understanding.
He is the author of numerous articles. Here is a recent one from Crossway that you will find helpful and encouraging.
Hans is a longtime partner in ministry and friend of the EFCA. Most recently, he spoke at our 2025 EFCA Theology Conference. Scott Barber serves the EFCA as our new director of pastoral theology and care. In this role, he will provide leadership, practical resources, and pastoral care for EFCA leaders.
Prior to joining our national office team, Scott served for nearly 14 years as the senior pastor at Grace Community Church (EFCA) in Worthington, Minnesota. Prior to his time at Grace, Scott served as a pastoral resident at Antioch Community Church (EFCA) in Minneapolis.
He earned his Master of Divinity from Bethel Seminary in Minnesota. Scott is ordained in the Evangelical Free Church of America.

In addition to the FTC schedule, you are invited to participate in Pathways Training preceding and following the regular FTC schedule.
Bible Pathways is a training tool used by ReachGlobal missionaries to train pastors and church leaders globally to be careful Bible readers and faithful Bible teachers.
Come and spend some time in the book of 2 Timothy and learn the importance of asking good questions of the text of Scripture that will enable you to do careful Bible study which can lead to faithful teaching. Time in God's Word with fellow servants of Christ will refresh you personally and prepare you professionally to train others in your church and in the world.
Pathways Schedule: Sunday evening - 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday morning - 8:00 - 11:00 am Tuesday evening - 5:00 - 8:00 pm (you can stay overnight Tuesday night or head home at the end of the training.)
