Project Excel in collaboration with Chick-fil-A of Huntington are announcing our first Huntington Youth Creates exhibition.
This year's theme is "Coloring our Community." We are looking for youth artists to illustrate the Huntington community through their own perspective in their artwork.
We are looking for youth artists who must live in the Township of Huntington grades 6-12 to enter and submit their artwork to be featured on a rotating gallery at the Chick-fil-A Huntington location in mid-late April 2026.
Artwork submissions must be in one of two categories: paintings and illustrations (See below for measurements/specs).
We are offering 2D Artwork Workshops to allow youth to creatively express themselves through either creating a painting or drawing to the theme of the exhibition.
When: Monday, April 6, 2026, for either Session 1: 10:00am -12:00pm Session 2: 3:00pm -5:00pm
Where: The Flanagan Activity Center 423 Park Ave Huntington, NY 11743, Room 301
**Space is limited, please only register your child for 1 session to allow for more space for other youth**
Two hours is allotted for the workshop, but youth can leave any time after they have completed their artwork.

Important Submission Details:
- Youth participants may only submit or complete 1 artwork in total to submit for the exhibition. - Drawings must be on 8.5 x 10" paper (not lined), and paintings must be on 8 x 10" canvas. [These will be provided during the workshop]. - If a youth participants decide to complete an artwork on their own time for submission, then they and their parents will be responsible for submitting the artwork to the Chick-fil-A Huntington location by Friday, April 10th at 5:00pm.
