Energy Education for Educators: Ramsey/Washington Recycling & Energy
Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 3:30pm - 5:00pm CDT
Ramsey/Washington Recycling & Energy (R&E) is a local organization with a cutting edge approach to protecting health and the environment. Rather than refuse simply bound for a landfill, they view waste as a resource stream from which they strive to recover maximum value.
How do they do it?
The Minnesota State Energy Center of Excellence invites you to find out! We are inviting educators and other civic leaders to join us for a webinar and tour of R&E's facility in Newport, Minnesota (just 9 miles southeast from downtown St. Paul).
By attending the virtual presentation on May 19, as well as the facility tour on May 28, you'll earn three Continuing Education Units from the Energy Center (a program of the Minnesota State system of colleges and universities).
*Please email Zach Miller (zachariah.miller@mnwest.edu) after registering if you are unable to attend the webinar or in-person tour, or if you have any other questions.
