Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way, on purpose, in the present moment and non-judgementally. The practice of Mindfulness leads to decreases in stress and anxiety, improvements in concentration and attention, and increases in self-awareness and overall emotional well-being. The practice of Mindfulness will help students achieve academic and personal success. Intramural Mindfulness 101 is a free drop in class for students interested in learning Mindfulness skills. Classes are offered on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM.
